American Cancer Society
Since National Breast Cancer Awareness Month was founded in 1985, every October has brought about an enormous amount of support for those affected by breast cancer.
At Jaxson Maximus, we have partnered with the American Cancer Society for the month of October to help raise awareness for those who have been affected by Breast Cancer.
On October 1st, 2021, Jaxson Maximus hosted the American Cancer Society for their Men in Pink Campaign. The Real Men Wear Pink campaign is a distinguished group of community leaders nominated by their peers who are determined to raise awareness and money to support our mission to save more lives than ever from breast cancer.

LGBTQ Task Force
The National LGBTQ Task Force advances full freedom, justice, and equality for LGBTQ people. They are helping to build a future where everyone can be free to be their entire selves in every aspect of their lives. From housing, employment, healthcare, retirement, and basic human rights, these barriers must go.
Our team at Jaxson Maximus has partnered with our local chapter here in Miami Dade to raise awareness to end discrimination for the LGBTQ community.
The Lighhouse for the Blind
The Lighthouse provides employment, support, and training opportunities for people who are blind, DeafBlind, and blind with other disabilities. The Lighthouse has provided employment and support to people who are blind in our community since 1918.
Our philosophy maintains that each employee be provided with whatever supports are necessary for success in the workplace. Supports include an in-house sign language interpreting department to ensure effective communication for employees who are DeafBlind, staff mobility instructors to teach independent travel with a white cane or dog guide, and over 100 computer workstations adapted for use by individuals who are visually impaired.
